An alleged robbery in west Regina did not end well for a group of teens after the trio was arrested and charged by city police late last week.
On Thursday, Feb. 13, at around 9:10 p.m., police responded to a robbery in progress on the 2600 block of Coronation Street.
Police learned that three suspects assaulted the victim and fled the scene with the victim’s personal belongings.
Officers found and arrested one of the suspects near the scene. Police discovered the victim’s belongings while searching the suspect.
A short time later at 10:50 p.m., officers found and arrested the second suspect at a residential address in the city.
The third suspect was also arrested at the same address the next day, just after 12 p.m.
An 18-year-old from Whitehorse, Yukon, as well as a 15 and a 13-year-old youth are all charged with a one count of robbery.
The 18 and 15-year-old made their first appearance in Provincial Youth Court on Feb. 14.
The 13-year-old accused is scheduled to make their first appearance in court on Feb. 18.
