A 47-year-old man is facing a lengthy list of charges after Regina police seized approximately 908 grams of fentanyl, 594 grams of cocaine and numerous firearms. According to a Regina police news release, a search warrant was executed around 6 p.m. on March 27 on the 100 block of Ottawa Street. Along with the seized drugs, police also took one prohibited rifle, a restricted handgun, two non-restricted shotguns, one non-restricted rifle and ammunition. Around $40,000 in cash in addition to jewelry valued at approximately $15,000 was also seized, according to police. As a result, the 47-year-old suspect was charged with a total of 13 counts. Charges include possession for the purpose of trafficking to possessing prohibited and restricted firearms. Regina police said two other people were also arrested on unrelated warrants. The 47-year-old suspect made his first court appearance on March 28.
