Regina police say a 48-year-old man with a history of sexual offences and considered to be a high risk of reoffending is currently at large. Jason Paul Thorn has a history of reoffending and poses a high risk for sexual offences against female children, according to Regina police. He had been living in the city’s Heritage neighbourhood in a residence that provided supervision and monitoring of his activities. Thorn was living at the residence with court-ordered conditions since his statutory release from prison on March 31, 2025. However, Regina police say the last attempt to contact him was unsuccessful and he is now considered unlawfully at large. Thorn is described by police as about five feet nine inches tall and around 170 pounds with a medium build, brown eyes and greying black hair. Regina police say they are working to apprehend Thorn safely and as quickly as possible, with a warrant now out for his arrest. Anyone with information that could help locate him is asked to contact Regina police or Crime Stoppers. Police said its warning is also intended to give the public the chance to take suitable preventative measures and encourage people to not attempt any vigilantism or other unreasonable contact towards Thorn.
