Regina police have launched a death investigation after a man’s body was found near Marshall Crescent early Friday morning.

Officers were called to the scene around 2 a.m., upon arrival they located the body of a deceased man, a Regina police news release said.

The area was secured and police’s major crimes and forensic identification units responded to the scene.

Regina police said the man’s name will not be released at this time, adding there are no further details with the investigation still in its early stages.

Anyone with more information is asked to call Regina police or Crime Stoppers.
