Saskatchewan RCMP say a man is in custody after officers responded to a call on George Gordon First Nation Tuesday morning. Police say officers were called to community at around 8:30 a.m. after an injured woman was reported near a home on the First Nation. RCMP and paramedics responded immediately. The woman was found suffering from serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital by STARS. Through an investigation, officers found and arrested a man in a nearby wooded area. The investigation into the incident continues, according to RCMP. The service thanked residents for their help during the incident. George Gordon First Nation is located approximately 110 kilometres north of Regina.
