The Estevan Police Service (EPS) is asking the public to be on the lookout after two men allegedly stole $5,000 in coins from a local business. The police service says the theft occurred sometime on Aug. 18 between 7:50 and 8 p.m. According to surveillance footage from the scene, two men entered the Estevan Laundromat and proceeded to damage a change machine – stealing a “significant amount of coins” totaling around $5,000. Patrol officers responded to the business after the theft was reported – with the service bringing in its forensic identification unit to process the evidence. Anyone who recognizes the two suspects pictured above, or who has any information regarding the incident, are asked to contact EPS or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
