A bail hearing for the man charged in connection to the highway shooting death of Tanya Myers has been adjourned. Chris Fahlman, 42, appeared via video on Thursday as family, supporters, and onlookers filled a Regina courtroom. Fahlman’s bail hearing has been adjourned until Friday afternoon, but it is possible it could be moved to the Weyburn area in the next week. Myers was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck by bullets while travelling on Highway 39 near Weyburn on Sept. 12. Fahlman was arrested in Regina on Nov. 1 and is charged with manslaughter with a firearm, careless use of a firearm, carrying a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence, and occupying a motor vehicle knowing there is a firearm inside. At this time, the RCMP do not believe there are any additional suspects. However, the investigation into Myers’ death is still considered ongoing.
