A 40-year-old man is facing 31 charges following investigation into a string of thefts and a robbery in Regina. The incidents took place between February 2025 and Feb. 12, 2026, with a majority of the thefts from liquor stores in the north end of the city, according to the Regina Police Service (RPS). Investigators from the RPS reviewed hours of surveillance footage to determine who was responsible for the crimes. Following a report of a theft at a business on Thursday, the suspect was located and arrested. He was charged with 30 counts of theft under $5,000 and one count of robbery after he assaulted a store employee in August 2025. He made his first appearance in Regina provincial court on Thursday.
