Federal police with the RCMP’s national security program say they’ve arrested two 14-year-olds in Saskatoon linked to an online account sharing violent extremist content. The Mounties say they started investigating the account on Feb. 10 alongside Saskatoon police. The two youths, whose identities are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, were arrested on Wednesday. They’ve been charged with uttering threats and are being held in custody in Saskatoon until their next appearance on Feb. 17. Police haven’t indicated the nature of online content, or how it relates to national security, but CTV News will be following the court case and report more information as it becomes available.
