A Regina teenager is facing charges following a robbery at a business on Tuesday. Officers were called to the 3500 block of Dewdney Avenue just before 10:30 p.m. On arrival they found a man who told police he and a second man were leaving the business when they were assaulted and had personal items stolen by a group of individuals, according to the Regina Police Service (RPS). During the incident, one of the men suffered minor injuries. On Thursday, officers conducted search warrants at two residences on the 1400 Block of Elphinstone Street, with SWAT team members, the patrol unit, and the street gang unit assisting in the operation. The teen, a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is charged with two counts of robbery. He appeared in Regina Provincial Youth Court on Friday morning.
