The Regina Urgent Care Centre (UCC) will once again operate on reduced hours this weekend. The centre will operate from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 6 and will be closed on Sunday, June 7. The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) says the UCC will return to normal operating hours of 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Monday. According to the SHA, the changes are due to physician availability and to proactively ensure the availability of services for their patients. Anyone experiencing a medical emergency while the UCC is closed is advised to call 911 or go to the emergency department at Regina General Hospital or Pasqua Hospital. Those needing non-emergency medical care are asked to call HealthLine 811, visit a walk-in clinic, or contact their pharmacy.
